Their Journey Begins with a Pawdit
Before their initial stay, every dog completes a required Pawdit - a chance for us to get to know them, understand their preferences, and ensure Fairview Boarding is the right fit. We'll discuss their routine, comforts, and any special needs, and give them a chance to explore the space, meet a caregiver, and feel at ease.
Preparing for Their Stay
HEALTH & VACCINATIONS
To help protect the well-being of every guest, all dogs must be current on:

Distemper combination vaccine (DHPP or DHLPP)

Flea and tick prevention

Heartworm prevention
We accept titers for distemper and parvovirus. Leptospirosis and canine influenza vaccinations are strongly recommended.

Please provide vaccination records before your dog’s visit. We cannot welcome guests without the required documentation.

Dogs recovering from a recent procedure must be free of sutures, staples, and open wounds and cannot arrive wearing a recovery cone. Please discuss recent procedures or changes in your dog’s health with us before booking.
All first-time lodging guests must also complete our required Pawdit assessment before their stay.
WHAT TO BRING
A few familiar essentials help us maintain your dog’s routine and make their stay comfortable.

Their regular food: Bring enough for the entire stay, along with clear feeding instructions.

Medications and supplements: Bring these in their original labeled packaging with administration instructions.

A familiar comfort item: You’re welcome to bring a favorite blanket, bed, or toy to help your dog settle in.

Care instructions: Share any changes in feeding, medication, health, or daily routines at check-in.
We provide an elevated bed, comfortable bedding, and bowls. House food is available for an additional charge if needed.
Please label personal belongings with your dog’s name. We recommend leaving irreplaceable items at home, as bedding and toys may experience wear or damage during a stay.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
We look forward to welcoming your dog. Please plan arrivals and departures during our lobby hours:

Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–12 p.m. and 4–6 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m.–12 p.m.

Sunday: 4–6 p.m.
At arrival, we’ll review your dog’s meals, medications, belongings, and any updates to their care needs.
Checkout is at 12 p.m. A $45 daycare fee applies to departures after noon.
Our lobby is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Please plan holiday arrivals and departures accordingly.
