This month: Under the Sea

The Story...
The Discovery
The Easter Egg wasn't the only thing uncovered in the temple last month. During a final sweep, archaeologists found an ancient map—not just of Barksville, but of the entire world. It showed an extra landmass in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that shouldn't exist.
Alongside the map were notes from ancient philosopher Pawto, telling of a forgotten place: Puplantis, the lost city of dogs.
The Legend
According to Pawto, Puplantis was an advanced civilization where dogs lived in perfect harmony through scent exploration, physical activity, socialization, and intellectual stimulation. But when they neglected these instincts, the city was lost to a great flood.
The Quest
The map revealed scattered coordinates—deliberately incomplete, as if the city never intended to be found. The dogs of Barksville began cracking the hidden codes while replicating the Puplantis way of life: scent work, exercise, socializing, and solving puzzles.
At the golden gates, they needed The Sacred Sea Bone to enter—their final test of all the skills they'd built.
The Truth
Inside the ruins, the dogs discovered Puplantis's real secret: the city had been extraordinary not for its appearance, but for how its dogs lived—listening to their instincts and working together naturally.
The dogs of Barksville didn't claim or rebuild Puplantis. They took something better: a deeper trust in instinct and a renewed understanding of true fulfillment.
