Dog Care Manager​​​
Position Overview
Fairview Boarding is seeking a dedicated Dog Care Manager who will both lead the dog care team and actively participate in daily care tasks. This role requires a strong leader who can maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and team performance while ensuring every dog receives excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:
Dog Care & Safety

Safely and confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Oversee feeding, cleaning, medication (if applicable), and daily routines

Maintain a calm, structured environment that supports dog well-being
Team Leadership
-
Lead, coach, and hold Canine Care Specialists accountable
-
Set expectations for professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail
-
Ensure staff follow all standards (uniform, behavior, and procedures)

Address performance issues promptly and clearly
Facility & Cleanliness Standards
-
Maintain high-level cleanliness and organization at all times
-
Ensure all cleaning protocols are consistently followed

Conduct regular checks and correct issues immediately
Operations & Enrichment
-
Manage daily dog flow and staff scheduling
-
Ensure enrichment activities are completed correctly each day

Identify inefficiencies and improve processes
-
Collaborate with Client Experience, Training, and Evening Operations teams
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Experience in dog daycare, boarding, or animal care
-
Strong dog handling and animal behavior knowledge
-
Leadership or staff management experience
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills
-
Ability to coach, correct, and motivate team members
-
Preferred: Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP)

Sunday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
