Puppy Kindergarten helps young dogs develop confidence, engagement, good habits and the early skills they'll need as they grow.

Training is combined with enrichment and thoughtfully structured experiences, giving dogs opportunities to learn while still enjoying their day.

Take the classroom into the real world.
This is where everything comes together.
Adventure is our highest Day School level and takes training beyond our property into real-life environments.
Dogs learn that the skills they've developed don't disappear just because the world gets exciting.
Depending on the individual dog and their progress, training may include outings and carefully selected public environments where they can practice around the sights, sounds and distractions of everyday life.

How Day School Works
Our Day School combines professional training with the enrichment and individualized care Fairview Boarding is known for.
Rather than spending an entire day drilling behaviors, dogs move between focused training sessions, enrichment experiences, rest and other thoughtfully planned activities.
This allows learning to happen in a way that's engaging, productive and appropriate for the individual dog.
Your dog's trainer will keep you informed about their progress and help you understand how to continue reinforcing their new skills at home.
And when they're ready?
We'll recommend their next step.
NOT EVERY DOG TAKES THE SAME PATH
Every dog arrives with a different history, personality and set of needs.
While our Education Pathway is ideal for dogs progressing through Day School, some dogs benefit from a more intensive approach—or from working privately with their family.
That's why we offer additional ways to train with Fairview Boarding.

Sometimes life doesn't allow for regular Day School—or a dog may benefit from a more concentrated training experience.
Our Boarding School combines an extended stay at Fairview Boarding with daily professional training sessions, enrichment and individualized care.
Your dog's training plan is built around their current abilities and your goals, allowing our trainers to work consistently with them throughout their stay.
Boarding School can be especially valuable for families looking for concentrated progress while they're traveling.
The most important part happens when your dog goes home.
We'll help you understand what your dog has learned and how to continue building those skills together.

Dogs don't live at training school.
They live with you.
Private Lessons give you dedicated one-on-one time with a Fairview trainer to work on your dog's individual needs while helping you understand how to communicate, reinforce skills and continue making progress at home.

Dogs change.
They mature, their routines change, families move, new dogs arrive, vacations happen and sometimes those beautifully learned manners get a little rusty.
That's normal.
Once your dog has developed their training foundation, Fairview Boarding can continue supporting them throughout their life.

Some puppies begin with Puppy Kindergarten.
Many adult dogs begin with Fundamentals.
Dogs with previous training may be ready for a more advanced starting point.
And some dogs may be better suited to Boarding School or Private Lessons.
