What Makes Our Daycare Different
We're no ordinary daycare, at Fairview Boarding, your dog will have daycare adventures! Every month there is a new theme and every day we have new activities to keep your dog stimulated mentally and physically.

WHAT IS ENRICHMENT?
Enrichment is a series of activities designed to stimulate your dog’s mind, body, and senses.

It’s much more than just fun and games- it’s about engaging their natural instincts, encouraging problem-solving, and helps prevent boredom. Whether it’s through interactive toys, scent work, puzzle games, or social interactions, enrichment provides a meaningful outlet for your dog’s energy and curiosity.

Why is Enrichment Important at Daycare?
Just like us, dogs need more than just physical exercise to thrive.
Without mental stimulation, even the most active dogs can become bored, anxious, or develop undesirable behaviors like excessive barking or chewing.
Enrichment activities help to balance your dog’s physical and mental needs, leaving them happier, more relaxed, and ready for a good nap by the time they come home.

WHY ENRICHMENT IS BETTER
When dogs engage in enrichment activities, they experience mental fatigue, which is just as important as physical exercise. A dog that’s mentally stimulated throughout the day is less likely to engage in destructive behavior at home. Instead, they’ll be much more likely to settle down, relax, and enjoy some quiet time with you.
Over time you’ll notice a calmer, happier dog who is more balanced and easier to manage in everyday life.
The Benefits of Enrichment at Daycare:
-
Calmer dogs: A mentally engaged dog is a happy, calm dog, both at daycare and at home.
-
Improved behavior: Dogs who experience enrichment show fewer signs of frustration and boredom.
-
Mental stimulation: Keeping your dog’s brain active can help prevent anxiety and stress.
-
Better overall well-being: Enrichment provides a holistic approach to your dog’s care, ensuring they are mentally, physically, and emotionally satisfied.
